With a continuous improvement ethos, we are committed to establishing best practice within our niche industry. Our Directors and General Manager are dedicated to maintaining our Safety, Health and Environment management system and the continuous development of safe systems of work. Each high risk task is covered by a specific safe work method statement and routine tasks are covered by detailed safe work procedures. In addition to both of these risk control measures, our Supervisors conduct a Task Risk Assessment (recording the details on their electronic work device) prior to the commencement of every task. We have an inclusive and collegiate approach to maintaining our high OH&S standards which include every team member being encouraged to share their improvement ideas during one-on-ones and at our regular communication meetings.
Systems and processes are reassessed on a daily basis. This is driven by feedback from customers, team members and management to ensure optimal practices are utilised and embedded within our company culture. Hector’s are currently working towards gaining ASNZS 4801 OHS Standard Certification.
